I haven't posted on here in about 2 days, every time I was getting ready to post here something would come up to pull me away. I did paint though! Which I'm so happy to not have broken my participation in the  "one painting a day" challenge :) Yaay me! (:

Yesterday I spent the afternoon doing something I had been wanting to do for awhile now... plein air painting.. I don't paint many landscapes but I'm always taking in the natural beauty around me and take tons of pictures , almost as many as I do my babies (pets).
So alog with my friend, Lani we set up by the pond on her property. It really was amazing, tranquil  and beautiful.  I'll definitely plein air paint more often, and look forward to the next time I'm able to, Hopefully soon!

I didn't know what I was going to paint for today and asked my niece Bianca for an idea of what I should paint. She suggested I paint a sunset, and that's what I painted :) Thanks Bianca!!

Hi! And welcome to my blog :) 

I've been wanting to write a blog based on my artwork, passion for animals,  and animal rescue for a while now but really didn't know exactly what I'd say or even if what I wrote or shared would interest anyone. 

Today I'm just going to jump right in! (yikes!) ...

I signed up for Leslie Saetas' "Thirty paintings in Thirty days Challenge"  (https://www.saetastudio.com/30-in-30.html) and saw it as an opportunity to both participate in a 30 in 30 Challenge, which I've been wanting to do for a long time, and also start my blog.

Today's painting is not one painting, but 3 miniature paintings measuring 3" x 2" each.
I started out with the one painting and it just felt "lonely" so I added 2 more. :)
